How to hack your mind and body with your state of breath

Anyone can change their breathing during stressful time to downgrade their stress and respiratory response, with just a few quick tricks... 
Changing my stressful state by using deep sighs (like the kind you get from relief), or even pretending I am blowing into a straw upon exhales (for a much longer time than my inhale), can immediately postpone (or completely downgrade) my stress response when I have a feeling of overwhelm.
